Motherin' the Mother is a doula practice owned & operated by Sunshine Cummings, ND/Midwife-Student.
My mission is to educate and "raise" happy, well-informed mothers, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, by providing the physical, emotional, and mental needs that each individual woman and her family require during their childbearing years.
In addition to childbirth and postpartum doula services, Motherin' the Mother also offers holistic preconception care, "Preparing for Pregnancy" classes, a class for prospective queer parents, and herbal teas and tinctures
. Future products & services include traditional midwifery, group & private childbirth classes, belly casting, baby slings, and more.
Motherin' the Mother is an inclusive practice and thus women of all backgrounds, faiths/spiritual practices, and sexualities are welcome.
